Mark has over 20 years of capital markets experience at Canadian and Global investment banks. Mark has completed equity and debt financings for a broad range of public and private Canadian companies.
Prior to joining Origin as a Principal, Mark was Managing Director and Head of Institutional Equity Sales at CIBC World Markets where he managed equity sales teams in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, New York and Hong Kong and was part of the Equity Capital Markets Operating Committee. Previously, Mark was Head of Equity Sales and member of the Board of Directors at UBS Securities Canada. Mark was also an investment advisor at Midland Walwyn in Vancouver and worked for the Deputy Prime Minister in Ottawa.
Larger transaction experience includes both public and private financings including Franco Nevada, Fairfax, Brookfield Asset Management, PrairieSky Royalty, Hudson’s Bay, Mitel, Cott, Algonquin Power & Utilities, Transalta, Cardinal Energy and Freehold Royalties.
Mark holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and a BA (Economics) from Carleton University.
