Bob has over 30 years experience in M&A, corporate finance, corporate development and public finance. Prior to InterOcean, Bob was with the investment banking firm Giuliani Capital Advisors LLC and Ernst & Young’s corporate finance group, where he led those firms’ metals and building products teams. He previously served as a corporate finance officer for Continental Bank (Bank of America) in Chicago and held corporate development and public finance positions with two Chicago-based corporations. In 2006, Bob co-founded InterOcean Advisors LLC , an investment bank focused exclusively on the industrial manufacturing sector. In 2022, InterOcean merged with Origin Merchant Partners.
He has authored articles in several publications including Mergers & Acquisitions, Profit Line, Modern Metals, and manufacturing.net. He formerly served on the Editorial Board of Metal Service Center Institute’s Forward magazine, a publication serving the metals industry.
Bob holds a B.A. from Regis University (Psychology), an M.A. from the University of Chicago (Public Policy), and an M.B.A. from Loyola University (Finance). Bob also completed a Manufacturing Strategic Operations program at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
